Chapter 1
Lola
She transferring to my school and
by she I mean my sister. My twin sister. Which I didn’t know about until last
April. When I found out I couldn’t believe it. I was shocked and mad because I
couldn’t believe my mother kept this from for 12 years. She said I didn’t know
about her because her and my dad spilt when we were only one years old and
after they spilt he ran away with my sister Layla to Michigan where his family
was and had come over here last April to visit another relative and just
happened to be at the same mall, same store at the same time on that same day.
Mom and I were at forever14 and I
was by the jeans while my mom was looking somewhere else for a pair of earring
to get for my birthday so she was over by the counter looking at the earrings.
I had spotted this really cute pair of jeans and was checking the price when
someone bumped into me.
“oh sorry” I said and quickly moved
on then I realized the girl looked familiar but like who I looked at her again
then realized she looked just like me.
I screamed “Lola!!!!!” my mom said
looking for me when she reached me she stared at the girl with wide eyes then a
man came in the store yelling “Layla come on are you yet?”
“Over here,” the girl said
When the man reached us he said
“wow you guys look exactly the same sooo weird” but I could tell he was joking
“Martin” my mom said to the man “we
can’t keep it from them anymore there 13 they deserve to know”
The man sighed “ok but we have to
catch our plane in a half an hour so we have to be quick”
“Your twins’ sisters we didn’t want
you guys to find out like this we were going to sit you down and explain
everything”
“Their leaving?”
“Well they don’t live in Los
Angeles sweet heart they have to go home”
“But I just found out I had a twin
sister”
“I know but things have to go back
to the way they were”
My sister and I looked at each
other and said our goodbyes but not before I got her number
After that me and my sister texted
each other a lot learning new thing about each other every day.
One day on a random Friday night in
October I was in my room doing homework I got call from my sister
“Hello?” I said when I answered it
“Lola you’re not going to believe
this!!!”
“What?”
“Were moving to California this
weekend we’ll be there tomorrow”
“OMG I don’t believe it”
“Me ether”
“Does mom know?”
“Yeah I think so”
“So you’re transferring to my
school on Monday?”
“Yup”
“NO WAY!”
“I know I’ll get to meet all your
friends” what would my friends think of me having a twin sister?

“So tell me all about Williams
Academy” Layla says Saturday morning in my bedroom as she is unpacking.
“Well my best friend’s name is Kylie I’m the
most popular girl in the 7th grade-”
“Wait your what?!” she interrupts
“The most popular girl in 7th
grade” I repeat
“No way that’s so cool. Ok sorry
keep going”
“Well I and a few other kids are in
this group I made up call ‘Starters’”
“Can I be in it?”
“Of course”
“Cool. What else?”
“The cutest boy is Derrick McKenzie
who just so happen to be my boyfriend”
She wiggles her eyebrows at me
“Don’t even think about it”
